Help Myanmar

On May 3, 2008, Cyclone Nargis devastated the country of Myanmar leaving 120,000 people dead or missing. The number of dead could eventually exceed 100,000 because of illnesses. Countless villages and rice-growing areas have been destroyed leaving as many as 1 million people homeless without food or clean drinking water.

Presently, Myanmar's government is restricting entry for large-scale international relief efforts, but when border restrictions are alleviated more relief organizations will be permitted entry to deliver food, clean water, medical supplies, and other forms of aid to the people who need it most.
